Waiters: When dining as a group, your tip is included—there is no need for you to leave an
additional tip. When dining on your own, remember that tips are usually not included in the
bill. The VAT, which may be listed on the bill, is a sales tax. It is customary to leave about 10%
of the check as a tip.
Taxi drivers: Tipping is not customary, but many locals will round up the fare and let the
driver keep the change.

on your adventure. All tips are quoted in U.S. dollars; tips can be converted and paid in local
