the Life of a local apple cider farm on Denmark’s
island of Bornholm on Day 4, where we’ll meet the owners and
get an intimate look at life on the farm as we learn about the production process.
Then, we’ll share a farm-fresh lunch with our hosts.
A Muslim migrant in Gdansk : As we explore the Polish maritime city of Gdansk
on Day 5, we’ll have the opportunity to meet a Muslim migrant to hear their
unique perspective on the Controversial Topic of immigration in Poland, an
increasingly contentious issue in a country where 97% of the population consists
of ethnic Poles.
A local perspective on Latvian history : On Day 7, we’ll learn about the
Controversial Topic of Latvia’s struggle to recover from Soviet occupation, as
well as the continuous threats it faces from Russia, from a local expert. During
our conversation, they will regale us with their personal account to illustrate the
oppression they and their family endured.
