This morning, we delve into the rich history
of Buenos Aires—an epic tale of birth and
]PMT]_S []Z_P^_^ LYO [L^^TZY^ ^`ʬP]TYR LYO
triumph set against the placid landscape
of the Rio de la Plata. We’ll begin our
OT^NZaP]TP^ bT_S L ^_Z[ L_ ;WLeL OP 8LdZɨL
monument-lined square that is home to
,]RPY_TYLɪ^ []P^TOPY_TLW ]P^TOPYNP _SP .L^L
Rosada. From there, we’ll stroll the wide
MZ`WPaL]O^ ZQ ,aPYTOL $ OP 5`WTZ LYO XLVP Z`]
way to the colorful La Boca artists’ district,
where the Argentinean tango was born. We
ʭYT^S Z`] Pc[WZ]L_TZY ZQ -`PYZ^ ,T]P^ bT_S L
short tango lesson that introduces us to the
OLYNP bSZ^P [L^^TZY LYO R]LNP PcPX[WTQd _SP
spirit of Argentinean culture.
Our small group will gather one last time for a
Farewell Lunch, during which we’ll toast to a

and across the Andes. Afterwards, we depart
