life in the Viking settlements in Greenland that disappeared 500 years ago. Smiley delves
in the medieval colonies, their struggles to survive in the harsh environment, contacts with
indigenous people and causes of their disappearance. It includes the tale of the Norse discovery
of North America.

Herd in Iceland (2012, Documentary) In the summer Icelandic ranchers allow their horses to run
wild and graze freely in the highlands. But come every September, they round up the horses
to prepare them for winter. This half-hour documentary follows the tradition of rounding up
