Water
• Water in Italy is considered safe, but as an added safety precaution against possible
stomach upsets, we recommend you drink bottled water as much as possible.
• Bottled water is usually for sale in hotels, food shops, and restaurants.
• If you’re out of bottled water, hotel tap water is okay to drink, but it may taste
unpleasant because of heavy chlorination.
