               Safe Water

In countries where the tap water isn’t safe, you should use bottled water for drinking and
brushing your teeth at any hotel. Bottled water is readily available for purchase throughout
Egypt. Inspect each bottle before you buy it to make sure the cap is sealed properly. Carry a
bottle in your daypack at all times. Bottled drinks and juices, and hot drinks that have been
boiled, are safe to drink. Avoid drinks with ice in them.
