                                                                               the quaint town of Testour, where you
                                                                               may strike up a conversation with local
                                                                               Tunisians about their daily life in this
                                                                               laid-back village with Spanish flair.

                                                                                 Family in Kairouan :  We’ll stop by the
                                                                               home of a local family in Kairouan on
                                                                               Day 6 to enjoy an authentic home-
                                                                               cooked meal.
                                                                                 Residents of Tozeur :  We’ll spend
                                                                               time with locals in Tozeur on Day 9,
                                                                               first exploring a market in search
                                                                               of ingredients for our lunch. Then, we’ll enjoy lunch
                                                                               made from our purchases at a local craft center and get to know those who
                                                                               work there.
                                                                                 Chenini Villagers :  Our Day 13 discoveries take us into Chenini, a Berber village
                                                                               in Tataouine, where our small group will have a chance to interact with the local
                                                                               residents.
