Safari Guides : Throughout your adventure,
you’ll be accompanied by expert, naturalist
driver-guides whose extensive knowledge
of Africa’s flora and fauna will help you
make the most of your game-viewing
excursions.
Bead Factory Employees : Our discoveries on Day 3 bring us to the Kazuri Bead
Factory, where hundreds of local women work to produce beads and jewelry,
which in addition to being important parts of the local economy, are also
exported to more than 20 countries globally.
Maasai Villagers : As part of our A Day in the Life experience on Day 9, we’ll
meet with Maasai village elders to discuss their cultural traditions, and take
part in a dance celebration.
Residents of the Mto Wa Mbu Village : On Day 12, we’ll venture to the Mto Wa
Mbu Village where locals will show us the importance of agriculture to their
community, and how bananas specifically are used to produce banana beer.
Hadzabe & Datoga peoples : On Day 14, we’ll spend time getting to know two
neighboring tribes: the Hadzabe, hunter-gatherers who still use a clicking-
based dialect, and the Datoga, skilled farmers and craftsmen.
On Days 8-9, we’ll see elephants in Amboseli National Park.
