                From the zoo to the wild
                I met my traveling buddy [Anita Duke, 8-time traveler
                from Philadelphia, PA] in 2013 when our docent organiza-
                tion at the Philadelphia Zoo was asked to “socialize goats.”
                (The goats were part of the old Children’s Zoo and the
                new one was opening soon.) As we brushed and petted
                the goats, Anita and I started talking about our dreams of
                traveling. We both have mates who do not share the same
